Andra attended the University of Florida where she studied Nutrition.   She received her Nursing Degree in 1995 and worked for 5 years in hospitals, working in Orthopedics, Neurology, Post Partum Care, Cardiology, Urology, and Medical-Surgical.   She then spent 4 years as the Clinic Director of a medical practice, running a staff of  MDs, Nurse Practitioners, Nutritionists, and other complimentary practitioners, along with a staff of 12 employees.

From there, Andra moved on to work as the full-time in-house Legal Nurse Consultant at a large insurance defense law firm in Tampa for 4 years.   During her time there, she founded Summit Medical Litigation Consulting, which she has been operating with her staff of nurses and nurse practitioners ever since.

Andra has found it extremely fulfilling to help attorneys navigate the sometimes complex minefield of medical jargon, but also to truly identify whether a case has any merit.   She prides herself in keeping the merit-less cases out of the courtroom.
